DURANGO, CO

Experienced Territory Manager – Durango, CO

  • The Territory Manager leads sales efforts across a defined geographic region by driving revenue growth, building long-term customer relationships, and promoting Vermeer’s suite of equipment solutions as well as other support services available. The responsibilities include managing designated sales territory, keeping accurate and up-to-date CRM details, identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and presenting tailored heavy equipment solutions. This role requires achieving sales targets, negotiating deals, equipment demonstrations, class A CDL, obtaining Colorado Sales license and collaborating with the team to provide exceptional customer service. Must be able to provide documentation of previous sales experience in similiar or related industry.
  • Position type & shift: Full-time Salary Exempt, w/ an anticipated 45-50hr work week
  • Out of State Travel Required: Up to 4 weeks per year
  • Compensation: Initial Starting Salary – $80K -$120K then transition to $24,000 base salary + Commission within one year of hire.
  • Residency Requirements: Must live in within 1-hour driving radius of Durango

Experienced Service Technician – Location TBD

  • The Service Technician is responsible for the high quality and effective repair of equipment both internally and externally. They provide excellent customer service, maintain professionalism, and utilize a web-based platform to keep detailed records for time, parts, supplies, purchases and repairs. Daily duties include performing diagnostic inspections, reconditioning or repairing equipment or parts, maintaining complete and detailed working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases for repairs, maintaining and caring for shop tools, company equipment and company vehicles, job code efficiency, following all safety rules and regulations, as well as representing Vermeer Colorado at factory, industry and company events, including meetings and trainings.
  • Position type & shift: Full-time nonexempt, 40 hours per week, Mon – Fri, 8am to 5pm
  • Out of State Travel Required: Up to 1 week per year
  • Wage: $22 to $40/hr.
